March 31 Home To Rest
I have returned home. It is so amazing to disappear from the world for several days and return to find so many wonderful expressions of love and support. The reconstruction physcian, Dr. Evans summed up this past week with my favorite metaphor- Journey. He said, yesterday with conviction,"we have started out with some really good steps on a very long journey"
These first steps were a real big ones. Thanks to all of you I was prepared. I am tired, healthy and happy. The key word is "tired" For now I am here to rest for a few days. To regain strength. I will work to update you on stories of the past seven days, as the strength returns.
I now know how tired Bilbo Baggins must of felt when he wrote the poem below. For me, I fully intend to follow the Road ahead with much Love and Faith.

Now far ahead the Road has gone,

But I at last with weary feet
